Hi list,

I'm now customizing lubuntu for our project which is to help newbie users
understand and get used to free and open source software. Now I have a
problem.

I put a configuration in /etc/X11/Xsession.d to assign XDG_MENU_PREFIX to
our own menu structure. Under Kubuntu it would work. However in Lubuntu
(or in LXDE) it was always overwritten to lxde-. I didn't find any
configuration or shell scripts with keyword XDG_MENU_PREFIX, and I wonder
if it was overwritten when lxde is started.

I tried to debug and found that in /etc/X11/Xsession.d/99upstart the value
XDG_MENU_PREFIX variable was still what I set. However when entering the
live session it was overwritten. (and in
/etc/X11/Xsession.d/99x11-common_start it didn't print the debug messages).

Would anyone please tell me where the LXDE assign this XDG_MENU_PREFIX
variable? And how could I avoid my settings being overwritten?

Any help will be very appreciated.

Thanks,
Franklin
