This is probably due to a known regression when release 0.10 gets compiled
against Qt 5.6, see https://github.com/lxde/lxqt/issues/1008.
The problem is fixed in master so all you can do right now is upgrade.

For users who know how to deal with VCS code it can still be assumed that
running latest checkouts makes for the better UX. As Gentoo user you
probably belong to that kind so upgrading all components may be an option
for you.

Here the message is already telling what's happening. In addition to
lxqt-policykit, the Polkit agent provided by LXQt, you've got another
instance around.
Preventing that other instance from getting launched on LXQt should fix the
problem.

Unfortunately this doesn't state whether or not you've really got a problem
affecting lxqt-powermanagement.
In case you do you may have look at the issue tracker at
https://github.com/lxde/lxqt. Quite a lot or issues affecting this
component are already open so chances are your particular problem has
already been reported. Otherwise you may consider opening another report.

True. I don't know a proper solution either. One recommendation is to have
a look at the lists provided e. g. by Arch Linux
(https://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/List_of_applications) or Manjaro
(https://wiki.manjaro.org/index.php?title=List_of_Qt_Applications) on a
regular basis to see whether some new application came up.
