XHTML is the XML rendition of HTML. If the server emits XHTML
as XML, Lynx will display it fine.
This “bug”report is about as useful as complaining to someone
delivering meals that you got the frozen meal (for self-cooking)
instead of the prepared one but don’t have a stove at home (XSLT
application), only dishes and cutlery ((X)HTML application).
I have considered cooking but the hyperlinks generated off line would be
dead, so the result would not be useful.
Also, you usually not serve frozen meals on a dish, as Lynx does it with
XML; you deliver it wrapped in a bag, with at least a description of the
presumed contents (if not cooking instructions).
