perhaps (but I haven't the patience to make slang for win32 build, let alone
test it - and PDCurses works without problem there).

-- I haven't looked at PDCurses for DOS (djgpp) since last year, when I tried
   building that version & could not locally test because it insisted that I
   supply it with a packet driver.
