I'm using LyX for six month and now writing books with
more than 300 pages with a lot of pictures and formulas
is quit easy, after my odyssee with WinWord, StarWriter,
WordPerfect and so on. However, I'm converting old textfiles
into lyx, when a new edition of a book comes out. This
belongs in the first turn ascii-files with up to 2 MByte.
It's quit easy for me to import it as a whole file, but
dividing the ascii-file in parts is also possible but
not LyX-like ... ;-))
