The obvious example is that you'd want to add something in one of them but not in the other. Of course, which you'd be able to do would depend upon the nesting of the insets.

I don't know how many people here used to be WordPerfect users, but this sort of remark of Andre's makes perfect sense to me, precisely because I was one. It's all about Reveal Codes....
