What are your criteria for something being a "word"? I.e., does your approach handle cases like: "\noun[Peter}'s patch \command{\define}s some new \program{LyX}-friendly \command{environtment}s in a \noun{Knuth}ian way"? (I can tell you that things become even more complex when writing in German). Jürgen
