  Honestly I don't think so but that is irrelevant here. :-)

  The idea was to have a kde frontend in addition to the qt frontend, 
obviously it would be able to share much code but it could have a better 
integration with kde.

  Think about lyx-kde in the same foot as lyx-gtk, as being alternatives to 
lyx-qt. FWIW if lyx-gtk was popular you could have a lyx-gnome to add to the 
party. The only that is missing from this picture is lyx-cli (xterm). But for 
the moment these are dreams (or vapourware if you prefer). ;-)

  The reason why I said above that this irrelevant is that none has done any 
work in either lyx-gtk or lyx-kde. :-)
