What I am objecting is that I (the layout file) cannot decide what the appearance of captions is. Such a combo should only offer choices if the layout file allows them, not unconditionally. Then the caption should follow the style dictated in the layout file. So, if captionbelow and captionabove appear in the layout file, "above" and "below" are placed in the combo. We should also have a general way of doing things. Maybe we should look for a layout name InsetCaption:Something and then offer "something" in the combo. -- Enrico
