I see the same problems here.
The search in the citation now works correctly, but I've found a new bug:
when you insert a new inset, the inset keys browser contains an empty key.
Also I think it is better to not change the label of the simple/regex button.
It should be regex (or regular expression) whether the button is selected or
unselected.
