This is the latest CVS lyx:
-rwxr-xr-x 1 root root 3421032 Jan 1 15:37 /usr/bin/lyx
I always install my own auto-generated lyx-1.2.0cvs RPMs.
The default RPM macros strip all installed executables.
On the other hand, the debug version:
-rwxr-xr-x 1 root root 26964311 Jan 1 15:55 /usr/bin/lyxgdb
I make sure that RPM will not install the stripped one for the lyxgdb
package.
