I have made a patch that works with Qt 3 on RH8.0. I'm building Qt 2
frontend now with the patch. I think our best course of action is this :
1) remove assumption symbol font is there from mathed (can you do this

2) use my patch, assuming it works
3) provide an RPM of those tex ttf fonts for RH8.0 users (what is their
license ?)
Hopefully this will work for all cases.
