You are very welcome! To start your translation it would be the best when you take the latest
English version of the file "splash.lyx" and translate it.
You find the latest file versions in our SVN repository. How to work with SVN

Beside translating the different LyX documentation files, also the menu names of LyX needs to be
translated. So its you choice to decide what to do as first ;-) .
