Dear all, I am working on a Lyx document under Windows, using a full installation of MikTeX 2.9 (by full I mean all available packages under their repository).
I included an equation with a simple integral symbol which seems to be rejected by MikTeX. The following errors are being generated: ! Font U/esint/m/n/10=esint10 at 10.0pt not loadable: Metric (TFM) file not fou nd. <to be read again> relax l.11 \[ I wasn't able to read the size data for this font, so I will ignore the font specification. [Wizards can fix TFM files using TFtoPL/PLtoTF.] You might try inserting a different font spec; e.g., type `I\font<same font id>=<substitute font name>'. ! Font U/esint/m/n/7=esint10 at 7.0pt not loadable: Metric (TFM) file not found . ! Font U/esint/m/n/5=esint10 at 5.0pt not loadable: Metric (TFM) file not found . ! \textfont 4 is undefined (character ). \]->\relax \ifmmode \ifinner \@badmath \else $$ \fi \else \@badmath \fi \igno... l.13 \] Somewhere in the math formula just ended, you used the stated character from an undefined font family. For example, plain TeX doesn't allow \it or \sl in subscripts. Proceed, and I'll try to forget that I needed that character. It seems that the font used to generate the integration symbol is missing, but as I told you before, I have a full installation of MikTeX. Thanks for your kind help. P.S.: Sorry for the previous message. It was sent erroneously. :( ------------------------------------------------- Julio Rojas [email protected]
