LYX and latex2html

Hello,
I quite like lyx as well as latex2html; however, I found it quite difficult
to include special html features, such as embedding hyperrefs into written
text. I eventually had to start a new paragraph containing plain latex and
then continuing with the text. 
Is there a guied somewhere how to do things like that more efficiently? (I
could not find any references so far)
