Thanks for your trouble. Possibly the libraries which come
with Mandrake
Linux ver 7.2 are shaky. I didn't have a great deal of luck,
before that,
either with RedHat ver 6.2. At some piiny in the near future,
I will try to
see if there is anything to be gained by using another Linux distribution:
Debian, SUSE, Slackware ?
I am using ver 1.1.5pre1, but my current problem does not lie there.I am still not using the V1.1.6pre? series, though.
