Hi,
I'm currently trying to get Lyx running on Red Hat 6.1 but i'm having
some problems with getting configure to recognise libforms.a
I've got version 0.88 of the xforms library and it's installed in
/usr/programs/lib
-rw-r--r-- 1 root root 572220 Mar 20 17:18 libforms.a
the header forms.h is in /usr/programs/include
-rw-r--r-- 1 root root 100334 Mar 20 17:18 forms.h
I'm running configure with the line
./configure --prefix=/usr/programs --with-extra-lib=/usr/programs/lib
--with-extra-inc=/usr/programs/include
and getting the error message
Configuration:

C++ Compiler: g++
C++ Compiler flags: -g -O2 -fno-rtti -fno-exceptions
C Compiler: gcc
C Compiler flags: -g -O2
LyX binary dir: /usr/programs/bin
LyX files dir: /usr/programs/share/lyx
Special flags: frontend-xforms included-libsigc

** Cannot find libforms or libxforms. Please check that the xforms
library
is correctly installed on your system.

I'd really appreciate any advice I can get on this one !
