thanks for your comment.
I already did identify the child in question. And within that child it
is exactly the expression I sent with my first e-mail on the issue. But
- it is definitely not *THAT* child document - the problem occurs in any
child with that or a similar expression.
As it right now looks to me the endless loop (or whatever it is) when
compiling is probably caused by certain double extra formatting of text,
e.g. slanted+underbar etc.
Take this as a preliminary result. I am still in the process of
verifying this throughout my document and once reaffirmed and for
certain I will revert to the list.
