Ah yes that could happen. If you can ever reproduce an issue where a newer version of LyX thunks something, then we would like to fix that. I remember seeing a couple of reports about that on Ubuntu. But it is hard to remember to back up your user directory before an upgrade, so it's hard to reproduce. Scott
