Well, I can run gv from a command line to my heart's content without crashes, and can convert the lyx documents via lyxport to my hearts content without crashes. So, it would appear, at least to me, that this is a problem with lyx. If I don't have lyx do the conversion/viewing the lockup never occurs. Jamin W. Collins
