Absolutely correct. In many cases, I can view the output (via the menu options) about 5 to 7 times without a problem. Then for no apparent reason (none that jumps out anyway, sure there is one) when I go to view the document, the system just locks and drops video. At that point, I can't do anything with the system and have to reboot it. If I don't use the view menu options in Lyx, but instead use 'lyxport' from a command line, the system runs fine. Note: After my initial posting, I did find that I could change the PS, PDF, and HTML converters in Lyx to use 'lyxport'. Since I've done this I haven't yet experienced the same lockup. But, I think it's too early to declare a solution at this point. Jamin W. Collins
