You can increase depth at any point in the list via the menu item, or via the shortcuts S-M-Right or M-p Right. You can use "Left" instead to unindent again. A handy trick also is to press M-Return not Return to stay at the same intended level but with a new paragraph regards john -- "Are you willing to go out there and save the lives of our children, even if it means losing your own life ? Yes I am. I believe you, Jeru... you're ready."
