It is actually not THAT bad. If there is a standard Greek->English mapping, e.g. \alpha -> a, \beta->b etc, math-greek will be a perfect solution, but there is no such thing. (Scientific Scientific Workplace and lyx 1.1.6 use somehow different mappings.) It makes sense to map each Greek letter separately. If you use lyx's default keybinding, you have all the Greek letters. Otherwise, you can map Greek letters one by one in your bind file. http://www.stat.rice.edu/~bpeng/personal.bind might help. -- Bo Peng
