Hello all,
I recently installed Lyx 1.3 with qt on a Gentoo 1.4-rc1 box with the
intention to produce documents among others also in greek (that is not using
greek just for symbols). I installed the relative babel support and
"reconfigured" Lyx to find out something quite strange:
While the .dvi produced looks ok I cannot type on Lyx using the greek keymap,
thus I'm forced to type the document in latin chars (a method known as
"greekglish" and quite confusing and error-prone). To be noted that I have
changed the on-screen fonts in a greek set and that if the english language
is selected, the greek on screen chars are typed in lyx (without ofcourse
resulting in sensible chars in the dvi, since the language in TeX is set on a
latin encoding). This is quite strange since all other apps, including kile -
a "less intuitive" latex editor - using appropriate fonts accept input with
the greek keymap.

Any clues, suggestions?
