problem about math formula display

hi, sirs,
 
 i have just installed lyx 1.3.1 qt for linux 8.0. (I use 1.2.1 before)
 gorgeous, unfortunately,
 some charaters in math formula cannot display correctly.
 
 for example:
 I insert a cup in formula in foo.lyx, it display as  ? in lyx 1.2.1.
  But now, when I open the file in 1.3.1, it display as 'cup' only.
 
 help!!!!!!!!
