Couldn't we make an agreement, that there will be only one reply: read http://article.gmane.org/gmane.editors.lyx.general/9472. Until the poor fellow answers, that it doesn't work, noone would say anything. Of course, the real solution would be to recover FAQ, but this is more simple.
