Hi,
I finally got round to trying the QT version of Lyx. It is very purty,
and it could load old documents without problems. However, I still miss
one feature of the now largely forgotten klyx (shows my age, I guess
:D): the toolbars had most (or all) of the math panel symbols, so you
didn't need to have the clunky panel around. It seems the *ahem*
competition (Texmacs) uses that same approach.
I checked whether the toolbars could be configured, but found nothing
on that.
Congrats on the new version, however late! :-)
