I'm experiencing the same problem (on Win XP) with Ruurd's port. The
temporary directory is created, but the conversion script is apparently
not written there.

Hmm. Not on my system. I'm running with the default set of converter
definitions, and when convertDefault.sh is run, I get the following
problem:

Don't know what went wrong there.

PNG and PPM files (which don't need conversion) display fine, and I can
convert everything to PNG outside LyX, but I would like to figure out
what the problem is. I'm pretty sure (one can never be positive with
Windows) that's it's not a permissions issue, since LyX is able to create
the lyx_timpdir... directory under .../tmp.

Any debugging tips would be welcomed.
