Ok! Perversely this is _good news_ as it means we can make some progress without having to re-compile LyX. Can ImageMagick cope with this non-Windows style of file path? Ie, does this work? $ convert jpg:C:/LyX/Documents/happy.jpg ppm:C:/LyX/Documents/happy.ppm How does it cope with this? $ convert jpg:C:\LyX\Documents\happy.jpg ppm:C:\LyX\Documents\happy.ppm --
