I've gone through the PSTricks tutorial as well as Herbert's fine document
on the package. Now I understand that I can specify the location of the
image within a document, but that does not allow it to float. The latter is
desireable when the figures are part of a large document such as a long
report or a book.

Would I open a figure float, center the paragraph, then open the ERT box
to write the pstricks code? Or is there a different, preferred way to do
this. For example, generating figures and plots separate from the text
document then importing them as .eps files.

Thanks,

Rich
