Hi @ all,

I am desperately trying to get the following layout for an article
straight.

1) The title should be followed by a footnote marked with *, i.e. bla
bla bla*
2) All other footnotes should be marked with numbers (1,2,...).
Actually, the idea is the same as in TLC2e, p. 115.

Unfortunately, I just cannot find a solution. I have tried it with
"footmisc" package and have managed to produce the * after the title
(with an ERT \setfnsymbol{lamport}). But I cannot reset the symbols
back to numbers, so that all footnotes are marked with symbols.

I some LaTeX coding is needed, just post it.

I would be glad if someone could help me.

Thanks in advance & have a nice weekend,

Kimmo
