Subject: Re: Testing WinLyX1.4.0 with some patches applied
I noticed that the interface and the menus in WinLyX 1.4.1svn are in
English in spite of the choice of French during the process of
installation? Moreover, I added a new envirenement variable in Windows
with LANG = fr_FR but I always have the English interface. An idea or a
solution!
Radwan.
LyX137 is very stable and has received a lot of polish. The developers
have made Aspell compatible for both LyX137 and LyX14x and the
default installation of LyX14x creates a separate installation folder up
in .../Application data Lyx1.4.x, so that preferences are not confused
or overwritten. I think it is prudent to preserve the LyX137 version as
some functions may not have survived the major transition to LyX140.
Though this is useful information, I will look around for something more
specific to a solution for you, and maybe somebody directly involved
with your problem will correct it. Juergen is strong in this area.
