There you have me, I never tried to download it as it was Windows only
It could then maybe be possible to develop using PDF as the Lyx
collaborative format using PDF compare/merge tools (which already exist, I
think) before converting back to Lyx.
I that might be the most flexible and system independent approach, and
quite easy to use.
I think so, as its something that is familiar to everyone and an ISO
standard format. I am now using PDFs as my final end point for reports,
presentations (using Beamer), invoices, student handouts etc.
