Dear List, I am using LyX version 1.6.6 for WindowsXP professional x64, with the JabRef reference program.
Everything was working just fine, but now every time I try to generate a pdf, I get an error that says: File does not exist: C:/Documents & Settings/Administrator/Local Settings/Temp/lyx_tmpdir.Hp3612/lyx_tmpbuf2/LEAP_notes2.pdf I'm also unable to download the newer version released on July 15 --or rather, I can download it fine, but it won't install. And when I try to insert a reference, my reference page now comes up blank. I can't seem to access that file. I did alot of messing around with java & cygwin between LyX working & not working (trying to get IMOD tomography software running), but don't know if that would have any effect on LyX. I also moved some folders around. However, I have the same problem even if I start a totally new LyX document in a fresh folder with no references. Can't generate a pdf. Can anyone advise me on what I should do? Thanks, Sarah McMurray
