Dear all, I have an array with fractions as elements, which is
rendered like this one:
http://upload.wikimedia.org/math/f/4/a/f4a5b1f44f4720ce28de1443b3a5b94f.png
There seems to be a solution, adding \\[0.3em] at the end of each line
in the array. The code will look like this:
\[
M = \begin{bmatrix}
\frac{5}{6} & \frac{1}{6} & 0 \\[0.3em]
\frac{5}{6} & 0 & \frac{1}{6} \\[0.3em]
0 & \frac{5}{6} & \frac{1}{6}
\end{bmatrix}
\]
It should be rendered like:

The question is, how can I add the double slash in math environment?
Everytime I try to do it, a regular slash is rendered.
Thanks in advance.
