There seems to be a solution, adding \\[0.3em] at the end of each line
in the array.
That LyX is not yet able to handle the \\[] command in math is a know limitation. A workaround for
this is described in LyX's Math manual in sec. 18.1.1 "Line Separation".
(Adding an additional empty line is often not a proper solution.)
