Hi Steve, What version of LyX are you using? Are you using the LyX Ubuntu PPA? http://wiki.lyx.org/LyX/LyXOnUbuntu#toc3 It might be worth using that (e.g. daily PPA lyx2.0 which is what will turn into LyX 2.0.6) and seeing if the problem is fixed. If not, do you have a MWE? Scott
