Actually,

Archlinux released it yesterday. I don't know how they did it, but it came
over in my system update. I uninstalled it promptly (I don't want to deal
with a major version upgrade in my production environment), so I don't know
it it was really 2.1 or 2.1RC. The package info shows lyx 2.1.0-1.
