I've never noticed that. Sounds like a bug or limitation of some part of
the system. Probably tsdos.

I doubt Laddiealpha is the bottleneck since it uses a c# list so there
would be no limitation on list size from that side.

The actual protocol gets filenames one at a time so there is no limit in
the protocol that I can recall.

Does it matter what files are there? Exactly 20 file limit no matter what
you do? Laddiealpha does some remapping of names in case there are non .do
text files it still lets tsdos see them as do files. For example txt and
html. Also it fixes the extension of DO files misnamed as if they were
tokenized BA files.
