Well I overstated the case but consider: POWR-DOS and timer interrupt
hooking software is compatible with REX as long as REXMGR isn't
running. So if you really want to use a RAM-only DOS, you can. PCSG
devices are incompatible with REX installed but generally REX replaces
all their functionality anyway.

I get it... a few people that want them currently don't have a REX. No
fault of your own, you just showed up at the party. It will be back
later. It's a well designed, well tested peripheral with excellent
software whose closest alternative is the old Booster PAK. But it's
completely internal.
