Hello, The external battery pack answers a question I've had about using something like that in my Model 100, which still has the original NiCad battery in it, and it still seems to be working. Still, I worry about it and wanted to replace it with something.
I had looked around at Nimh batteries, but also thought about something external like this. NiCd isn't really sold in Sweden anymore because of the cadmium, though I'm sure one can have things mailed in from abroad.....
