If you want to bring the drive over at some stage I can test on my model 100. I 
also have spare cables for the drive and I have null modem cable as well that  
works as well. Can also try the drive with TDOS as well.

Firstly, apologies for the lack of response. "Real life" and all that... (and 
other computers in my collection taking my attention)
I'll try and find a 25->9pin serial adapter (dont have any machines with a 
25pin Serial port around) and give that a go.

Given NADSboxes are N/A - what other options are there for data transfer in the 
modern age?
