I’ve never seen that. What I have seen is if the server takes too long to
respond, tsdos will time out and given an error. I’ve never seen anything
respond too fast for it. The way the communication works for tpdd is the
client sends a small request, and sits and waits for a small response. The
client cannot be overrun by responses because it set the pace by how fast
it makes new requests.

The weird thing about what you’ve been describing is it seems like there is
definitely data corruption happening. I don’t see much of that. When I saw
it it was because the rs232 cable itself was flaky, in particular, the
signal ground wire.

If you have multiple cables or laptops, particularly known good ones, it
would be good to start swapping parts.
