Tom, I'll have to check the manual when I get home. The older versions of mComm supported a straight TELCOM mode for those without TS-DOS or TEENY. That was a menu based system that could transfer files straight to TEXT or BASIC with a few steps. But once I added the ability to inject DOS into the laptop, I scrapped that feature for the virtual modem. I suspect I didn't update the old manual file when I did that. Sounds to me like you have it working properly. With the UR-2 you will be able to load not only TS-DOS but also Sardine.
