Note that I replaced the battery with a supercap which I don't recommend, it 
was just a fun experiment. I'm in the camp of not recommending trying to snip 
the battery out as I have seen folks damage PCBs trying to snip things off the 
board. If you have the right type of snipper, as Josh recommends, and it is 
sharp it will be OK. If not don't attempt to snip, just desolder.

Arcadeshopper and myself both stock batteries if you have trouble finding them.

Also take a look at the electrolytic capacitors when you are in there. They are 
fond of leaking on the M100s and can wreak havoc. In the video description 
there is a color code map with capacitor part numbers. This is not a hard job, 
but you need some basic soldering skills.
