I wrote one in BASIC a couple months ago. It's pretty simple (80x16 cells, can load a DO as starting generation or generate a random one) and... very slow (about 1:15 minutes per generation).
The code is pretty awful because I used every trick I could to make it faster, but I could upload it somewhere if you want. I made a Z80 assembly version for the RC2014 but I didn't have time to do the same for the M100 version (and both my M100 are currently not working :o( ). Eric
