Status of my M100 repair:

So, I've replaced all the capacitors and put Birt's supercapacitor in place
of the battery.
Now it's charging. I think Birt had to charge like 5 hours so we'll see
later today whether the repairs were good enough or not.
I think not....

Even after charging for 2 hours there is no sign of life when I turn it on.
Or try Reset or Ctrl+Break+Reset or any combo thereof. But then maybe until
the supercap is fully charged it wouldn't work anyhow.

The big question is as Birt and Malone noted, I may have to get under the
solder mask.... That seems so daunting cause don't I have to do that on the
top and the bottom? Bottom might not be so difficult, but the top with all
the components seems impossible. Then assessing which traces are good also
seems almost impossible. Wouldn't I have to basically test the ends of each
one (and it seems like there are thousands just in this one area) to see if
they are good or not?

Regardless, I do want to say that it has been fun trying to fix it.
