Tandy Assembly has been held every year in Springfield Ohio for about 7 years,
I think. This will be my fourth year. It is a great time and draws folk a from
all over the world. Steve Leininger is presenting, and the talks are available
on YouTube within a few weeks.

prototype and the other has a blonde keyboard.

This conversation prompted me to click the link and see for myself. I've never
been to one of these events, but after checking the site I wish I could go.

Steve Leininger is presenting??

Does he present at these regularly? I'd love to hear that presentation. I
know I'm not the only one, but the TRS-80 was the first microcomputer I was
able to touch. I haunted the local Radio Shack in my home town almost every
day after school (rode my bike, up hill, both ways). The day that machine hit
the store started my desire for a personal computer. I repaired a lot of 8
track players and CB radios to save up and buy a Color Computer after the Model
I went out of stock. Learning 6809 assembly with the EDTASM cartridge was
foundational.

The exhibitor list looks amazing. A presentation on Arcnet. Brazilian Radio
Shack clones?

Are these conferences like this every year?

Jerry

Well, I used it so at least one person does 😊

Still my original post and link were at the bottom of the replay questioning
what TASM was. Not too hard to figure out…

Yes, you mentioned that now twice. Not sure why you're pushing this so much.
Yes, most of us figured out that you meant TA2024, but the tone in your
responses is coming off as flippant and condescending, a bit odd given your
focus (educational media).
