The original post even had the link to Tandy Assembly (TASM). Not too hard to
figure out…

Hi,

Okay, what does a Model 100 have to do with Terrorism or Texas Math or
Footware?

When I did a quick Google search, that’s all that came up ???

We are going to display the two units together at TASM 2024.

In this video we refurbish two odd TRS-80 Model 100s. One of them is a
one-of-a-kind prototype from the estate of Tandy engineer Frank Druda (thanks
to my friend Eric D.). Second M100 has an odd ‘blonde’ keyboard. Let dig into
both and see how much the prototype differs from a production unit and get them
both fully operational again.

Both units will be at Tandy Assembly 2024: http://www.tandyassembly.com/

Jeff Birt (Hey Birt!)

Malcolm Ramie has what I think is the counterpart to this prototype unit, an
external EPROM board owned from Frank Druda, for the Model 100. Malcolm was
told the external board was used by Frank to get updates for the OS on the
Model 100 during development. The board was shown at VCF-SW 2024, and I dumped
the ROMs, though the ones on the PCB are the same as the production OS. Someone
might have received earlier ROMs loose from the estate, not sure.

This ties to the earlier questions I asked on the list:
