So, just wanted to follow up on this and it's a happy story as my model 100
is working flawlessly now.

After Jeff responded I viewed all his great Youtube videos about TRS-80
model 100's. I was left with two interesting things. If the machine behaves
strangely it might be because:
1) left over flux that has become slightly conductive
2) or missing battery

So I addressed both of these. There was a lot of left over flux in certain
areas of the mother board that needed to be cleaned of and I replaced the
battery. And behold: The machine now works perfectly :).

Now, I will go and write some TEXT files on my Norwegian Model 100!.
